The basic Jjianbing is a thin batter crepe with egg, scallions, a huge crispy fried cracker (crazy delicious), sauces, and a big selection of optional fillings if you choose, all for $9 - 12$.

Is the food quality at Jian good?

Delicious, unique food. The pulled pork and butterfly shrimp were both delicious. No other kind of food like this. A great option for lunch.

Is Jian clean?

The ingredients are fresh and flavours are reminiscent of those I’ve had in China. However, service is very slow when busy, portions inconsistent, and expensive relative to China.

How long does it take to get food at Jian?

The service is overall quite fast, I went during lunchtime hour and ordered the fish jianbing - the chef let me know right away that it would take a little longer since it was fish.

It’s alright. We had the seaweed one and it’s so dry, not a fan
